Safety glass where it's required
Glass in doors, and in some panels beside doors or close to the floor, has to be safety glass. When we replace glass in those places we use tempered glass, which is several times stronger than regular glass and breaks into small, blunt pieces instead of sharp shards.
Tempered glass can't be cut once it's made, so every piece is made to size after we measure.
Matching glass that's hard to find
Older buildings often have tinted or coated glass that's no longer made. On one commercial job the original coating was out of production, so we sourced a close match the owner was happy with. We've also colour-matched spandrel glass for a commercial building in Woodbridge.
From house windows to 12-foot units

When the opening can't be left
A broken window or storefront can't always wait for new glass. We remove the broken glass and fit a custom-cut panel into the opening, which is neater and more secure than plywood screwed over the frame, then come back to install the new glass.

Common questions
Can you replace broken glass the same day?
It depends on the glass. Tempered glass and sealed units are made to order after we measure, so they take longer; sealed units usually take two to four weeks. If the opening can't be left, we remove the broken glass and board it up until the new glass is ready.
Do you replace tempered glass?
Yes. We use tempered glass in doors, storefronts and anywhere else safety glass is required. Each piece is made to size after we measure, because tempered glass can't be cut afterwards.
Can you match my existing glass?
Usually. We match thickness, tint and coatings, and when a glass is no longer made we source the closest available match, as we did on a commercial job with a discontinued coating.
Do you replace glass for businesses?
