Why sliding doors get hard to open
Most sliding doors ride on small rollers along a track. When the rollers wear out or the track is dirty or damaged, the door drags, jumps the track or takes two hands to move. New rollers and a cleaned or repaired track usually make it glide again.
Locks, handles and security
A patio door that won't latch is a security problem. We repair or replace handles and locks, and we can fit a lock that works with a key.
Foggy or broken patio door glass
Patio door panels are sealed units. If one fogs up or breaks, we replace the glass with a new tempered sealed unit and keep the door. Foggy window repair explains why sealed units fail.

Usually worn rollers or a dirty or damaged track. Replacing the rollers and cleaning or repairing the track fixes most doors.
Can you replace the glass in my patio door?
Yes. We replace foggy or broken patio door glass with a new tempered sealed unit and keep the existing door.
Can you add a key lock to my patio door?
Yes. We can fit a lock that works with a key.
Do I need a new patio door?
Not usually. Rollers, tracks, handles, locks, weatherstripping and glass can all be replaced separately. If the frame itself is damaged, we can install a new door system.
